The Scientific Complex conducts the central exam for students participating in the Quran Memorization Project

The Scientific Complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine conducted the central examination for the students participating in the Quran memorization project at the Al-Alqami Complex for Visitors.

The head of the memorization unit at the Holy Quran Institute in the complex, Sheikh Ali Al-Ruwaie, said, "The Quran memorization project is being held for the fourth year and is considered one of the important projects adopted by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine. It is called the 'Recruitment Project,' as it focuses on recruiting a select group of students within the age group of 10 to 14 years."

He added that "in this edition, about 235 students participated, undergoing a test in the correct recitation of the Quran within the first preliminary stage, from which qualified students will be selected for the second stage, which involves memorizing a complete part of the Quran under the supervision of competent teachers. They will then take a test with a passing grade of 70%, in preparation for their inclusion in the memorization unit at the institute to memorize the entire Quran over five years."

Al-Ruwaie indicated that the goal of the project is to attract a good group of youth and prepare them to participate in building a sound and integrated society according to a well-studied mechanism designed to memorize the Quran, instill the understanding of its verses, and teach the student how to interact with it and act according to its teachings.
