Deputy Secretary-General: We are keen on fortifying the emerging generations with the Holy Quran through purposeful educational programs

The Deputy Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Mr. Abbas Mousa Ahmed, affirmed the commitment to fortifying the emerging generations with the Holy Quran through purposeful educational programs.

This came during his attendance at the closing ceremony of the summer Quranic courses organised by the Scientific Complex of the Holy Quran at the holy shrine.

Ahmed explained that these courses are a series built over more than ten years, and the number of students benefiting from their lessons has exceeded 60,000 in 11 Iraqi provinces.

He pointed out that the holy shrine is keen on fortifying generations with the Holy Quran and distancing them from the negatives of social media, through sponsoring specialised educational and spiritual programs that achieve this noble goal.

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine seeks to nurture a generation that loves the Holy Quran and adheres to the teachings of Islam according to the methodology of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) through the establishment of summer Quranic courses.
