The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine received thousands of visitors amidst an atmosphere of sorrow, just before the ceremony of replacing the flags of the domes of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), signalling the arrival of the month of Muharram for the year 1447 AH.

The holy shrine has spread flags of mourning, sorrow, and condolence in the holy courtyard and the area between the two holy shrines to welcome the months of Muharram and Safar.

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is preparing to receive thousands of visitors coming from inside and outside Iraq to participate in the ceremonies of replacing the flags of the holy shrines.

The holy shrine has prepared a comprehensive plan to revive the ceremony of replacing the flag on the dome of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) after the Maghrib and Isha prayers.
