The Director of the Holy Karbala Health Department, Dr. Sabah Al-Moussawi, confirmed that the fifth medical forum organized by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine discussed health preparations for the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
This was stated in his speech during the fifth edition of the medical forum, organized by the Medical Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, in preparation for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
Al-Moussawi said that the sponsorship of His Eminence the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, continues for the fifth forum for the Arbaeen pilgrimage, explaining that the forum was held to discuss the preparations and health services that will be provided by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, the Karbala Health Directorate, and the participating health ministry departments.
He added that there is a continuous development in the quality of services, and there are many statistics on what is provided within the holy city of Karbala, passing through the main routes. He confirmed that this year will witness an increase in the number of visitors and a rise in temperatures during the days of Ziyarat, and that the presence of health institutions within the city and on the main routes requires medical supplies, necessitating additional health measures compared to last year.
Al-Moussawi urged operations managers and general directors to cooperate and engage in complementary partnerships to ensure the success of the service delivery plan, confirming that the final plan will be developed in the coming days in collaboration with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and health departments.
