The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine holds a special forum for its employes working in the Lost Guidance Centers during the Ziyarat Arbaeen

The General Secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine held a special forum for its staff working in the Lost Guidance Centers during the Ziyarat Arbaeen of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

Mr. Maher Khaled, a member of the Lost Guidance Centers Committee, said: "The forum was held to unify visions and organize the work among the holy shrine's staff responsible for managing the Lost Guidance Centers on the various routes leading to the holy city of Karbala (Babylon, Najaf, Baghdad), and to provide a quality service that helps reunite the lost with their families in the least time and effort possible."

He added, "We reviewed at the forum the joint work mechanisms between the holy shrines of al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), and the activation of central control that ensures the dissemination of visitor information to all centers and axes, allowing for immediate coordination to transfer the visitor to their relatives through mobile teams and various other means."

He explained that "the forum included several topics, such as: introducing guidance centers, their distribution locations, organizing tasks among members and volunteers, in addition to highlighting the importance of humane treatment of lost visitors, especially children and the elderly."

For his part, the head of the Communications and Information Security Department at the holy shrine, Engineer Firas Abbas Hamza, said: "We provided a series of technical and professional guidelines to the workers in these centers during the forum, including methods for dealing with humanitarian cases, how to record visitors' personal information, in addition to explaining the mechanism for using wireless devices that contribute to speeding up coordination processes between teams."

He explained, "We addressed the logistical aspects and identified the locations where they will be stationed; with the aim of enhancing readiness and ensuring the provision of services that match the scale of the Ziyarat and the number of visitors."
