Why was the Central Military parade of the Fighting Squad of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) held in the province of Basra ?

The Fighting Squad of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) held on Saturday 12th dhu Al-Hijjah 1436 AH corresponding to the 26th September, 2015 in the province of Basra a central military parade in which a number of graduates of the training centers opened by the leadership of the squad in all provinces of Iraq participated. Some important personalities and media have raised the question: Why the parade was held in the province of Basra?
Mr. Maytham al-Zaydi, the General Supervisor of the fighting squad of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) answered this question, saying: "This question carries within it an injustice and unfairness to this city, it would have been better to ask if the squad held any parade, why it was not held in Basra?"
Adding: "Basra is the mine of men and is the pillar of any blessed jihad project, as Basra was honored by offering the biggest number of martyrs in the last term, and it is the pulsating artery of the volunteers project of the sacred Jihad, this is why the establishment of such parade on its soil is a simple way to express the gratitude to this dear city, given the sacrifices it offered for all the people of Iraq from north to south, with our love to all other Iraqi provinces, but Basra exceeded them in this sense."
Mr. al-Zaidi called all concerned by Basra to show more interest to this city as it worth a lot, especially that Basra suffers from neglect on the service, medical and urban levels.
In a related context, the General Supervisor of the squad stated: "All the training centers which were opened by the squad in all provinces of Iraq, were overseen by Iraqi competent coaches, believing that the Iraqi competence in this field is one of the best ones, as is the case with the Iraqi fighter who is one of the best fighters."
Explaining: "The Squad has created reserve forces in the provinces in case of any emergency, and these forces will move if necessary in the light of the military leadership orders in the provinces."
It is worth mentioning that the Fighting Squad of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) held on Saturday 12th dhu Al-Hijjah 1436 AH corresponding to the 26th September, 2015 in the province of Basra a central military parade in which a number of graduates of the training centers opened by the leadership of the squad in all provinces of Iraq participated, in implementation of the directives of the religious authority in Najaf when it called for the need for preparedness and to raise the readiness of people in their various segments to ward off the dangers that may surround the country. The forces of the squad's brigades have participated in this parade in addition to the armor and artillery battalions, elite forces, rockets and others.
