In the presence of its Senior Official, the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine holds a mourning council in commemoration of the Arbaeen of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)

The General Secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held a mourning council on the occasion of the Arbaeen of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in the Honors hall.

The council was attended by the Senior Official of the holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi, several of its officials and staff, and a group of mourning visitors.

The council, in which Sheikh Abdullah Al-Dujaili gave a lecture, discussed the tribulations of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and what happened to Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in the Battle of Karbala, reviewing the details of his martyrdom (peace be upon him) and the loss of his loved ones and companions.

The speaker touched upon the patience of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her) and her steadfastness in the face of oppression, as well as her role in conveying the message of the Hussaini uprising to future generations.

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is keen on holding Hussaini gatherings to revive the memory of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and to convey their knowledge, virtues, and noble biography.
