Replacing the flag of the dome of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) with the end of the mourning season

The black flag of the dome of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) was changed to red flag, coinciding with the arrival of the month of Rabi' al-Awwal of the year 1447 AH.

The Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Sayed Mustafa Murtada Aal Dia-Uddin, conducted the flag replacement ceremony.

The flag was changed in conjunction with the announcement from the office of His Eminence Sayed Ali al-Sistani, that tomorrow, Monday, is the first day of the month of Rabi' al-Awwal for the year 1447 AH.
