The Department of Industries and Fine Crafts at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine confirmed its adoption of global engineering and artistic standards in the manufacturing of marble and quartz.
The head of the marble unit in the department, Mr. Mohammed Hisham Abdul Razaq, said: "The unit relies on global engineering and technical standards in the manufacturing of marble and quartz imported from reputable companies, to produce high-quality, expertly crafted materials capable of meeting the requirements of the projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine."
He added, "The unit is responsible for the production and shaping of quartz marble products in various forms, including countertops, sinks, and basins, as well as cutting, designing, and finishing works that highlight the product's beauty and artistic precision."
He explained that "manufacturing goes through several stages, starting with cutting the slabs and preparing them according to the measurements, then polishing and surface treatment to reveal the natural colour and shine, culminating in the final assembly of the parts and their complete integration," indicating that "the unit's staff are currently working on producing the kishwaniats from quartz marble and natural marble."
