The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine discusses the preparations of its departments for organising the (Mercy to the Worlds) festival

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held a meeting to discuss the readiness of its departments to participate in organising the activities of the (Mercy to the Worlds) festival.

The meeting was held in the presence of the members of the Board of Directors of the Holy Shrine, namely Mr. Laith Al-Moussawi, Dr. Afdhal Al-Shami, and Dr. Abbas Al-Dadah Al-Moussawi, along with representatives from the departments concerned with organising the festival.

A member of the celebrations committee at the holy shrine; Sayed Aqeel Al-Yasiri, said, "The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues its preparations to hold the 'Mercy to the Worlds' festival, which is held in celebration of the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and his grandson Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq (peace be upon him), coinciding with the 1500th anniversary of the birth of the Noble Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household."

He added that "the meeting discussed the preparations of the Holy Shrine departments related to organising the festival, and during it, tasks were distributed to each department with the necessary timelines for implementing the activities."

Al-Yasiri explained that "the festival will be held over three days (15-17 Rabi' al-Awwal) and will include various religious, cultural, and media activities. In the coming days, a wide media campaign will be launched to introduce the festival and invite the public to participate in it."
