In Cameroon.. The Intellectual Affairs Department organises a celebration for the Prophet Mohammad's birth anniversary

The Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine organised a celebration marking the birth anniversary of the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) in the Republic of Cameroon.

The coordinator of the African Studies Centre affiliated with the department in Cameroon, Sheikh Muhammad Mukhtar, said: "The centre held a joyous celebration marking the birth anniversary of the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) in the village of Kombo in the Republic of Cameroon."

He added that "the ceremony included a religious lecture that highlighted the virtues of the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and his blessed biography, and its impact on guiding humanity and spreading the values of mercy, justice, and love."

This event is part of a series of activities organised by the centre in several African countries, aimed at reviving the teachings of the Prophet and his family (peace be upon them), and deepening societal awareness of their legacy and the great lessons it carries.
