The ceremony is organised by the Women's Religious Schools Division of the Kafeel Schools, affiliated with the Office of the Senior Official for Women's Affairs at the Abbasid Shrine, with the participation of 5,000 female students from 14 Iraqi provinces, in addition to 231 female students from 7 Arab and Islamic countries: Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan, and Lebanon.
The ceremony was attended by the Senior Official of the holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi, its Secretary-General Sayed Mustafa Murtada Aal Dia-Uddin, his deputy Mr. Abbas Mousa Ahmad, several members of its board of directors, and its officials, in addition to the presence of official and academic figures, and several families of the martyrs.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Haidar Al-Bazouni, followed by the singing of the Iraqi national anthem and the anthem of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine (Melody of Pride), in addition to the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha.
The closing ceremony includes a speech by the esteemed professor of the religious seminary in Najaf, Mr. Muhammad Hussein Al-Amidi, and a speech from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, followed by a recitation of a poem titled "Kaf and Liwa." This will be followed by a speech from the graduates and participating delegations delivered by Ms. I'tidal Darwish from the Sultanate of Oman.
The ceremony includes a silent film about graduation ceremonies in the Sultanate of Oman titled "Daughters of Al-Aqila," followed by a speech from the parents, as well as a film titled "Daughter of the Era," and a poem recited by poet Mohammed Al-Fatimi, in addition to honouring several families of martyrs.
The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine holds the ninth graduation ceremony for the "Banat Al-Kafeel" with the aim of providing moral support to the graduating students, concluding their educational journey, and launching them into professional life from the sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
