The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announces the success of its media plan for the Kafeel Girls' graduation ceremony

The head of the Media Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Mr. Ali Al-Badri, announced the success of the media plan in covering the central graduation ceremony for female students of Iraqi and Islamic universities in its ninth edition.

The ceremony was organised by the Women's Religious Schools Division of the Kafeel Schools, affiliated with the Office of the Senior Official for Women's Affairs at the Holy Shrine, under the slogan "From the Light of Fatima (peace be upon her), we illuminate the world," with the participation of 5,000 female students from various provinces of Iraq and Islamic countries.

Al-Badri said: "The department succeeded in implementing the media plan it devised to cover the events of the graduation ceremony (the ninth batch of Al-Kafeel Girls), which relied on various journalistic arts and a comprehensive media system to highlight this national event."

He added that "the plan achieved its intended goals in terms of comprehensiveness and global reach, as major social media platforms interacted with the videos and photos published by the department through its various centres, in addition to local and foreign news agencies disseminating the news published by the department."

He explained that "the coverage was divided into several phases, including detailed and phased news. The news coverage was carried out in three main phases to ensure that no aspect of the event was overlooked. The first phase included covering the preparations of the main and supporting departments for the ceremony at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, which involved the organisational and service committees in preparation for receiving thousands of female students."

As for the second phase: it included coverage of the first ceremony held on Thursday evening, the oath-taking ceremony conducted on Friday morning in front of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), as well as coverage of the evening ceremony and closing events held on Friday evening at the Al-Ameed Educational Group affiliated with the Education and Teaching Department at the Holy Shrine, providing a comprehensive picture of the graduation day.

While the third phase witnessed the publication of reactions from students, parents, and relevant authorities, as well as social interaction with the event."

Al-Badri pointed out that "the coverage was also published in the form of an infographic design that provided high-precision statistics and information about the ceremony with an attractive design, enhancing the visual message of the event, in addition to providing a comprehensive live broadcasting system throughout the ceremony's events, which reached a wide scope across various platforms, ensuring viewership to millions of followers and enthusiasts around the world."

He explained that "the media plan included the production of a documentary film titled 'The Woman of the Era,' which reminds of the sacrifices of the Iraqi people and the role of women in it, to instill in the graduates the extent of the responsibility and the expected role from them to create a better life for this people."

He explained, "The department's specialised staff utilised other journalistic arts, including in-depth television reports, news stories, and conducting exclusive interviews with university presidents, parents, and students, which contributed to achieving the highest level of professional coverage."

The head of the department concluded his speech by saying: "This media success is the result of collective work, high-level professional planning, and diligent efforts from all the department's officials and staff. It reflects the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine's commitment to keeping up with major events at the highest levels of professionalism and creativity."
