Large crowds of believers perform the Eid al-Fitr prayer in Karbala

Large crowds of believers celebrated Eid al-Fitr prayers in the area between the two holy shrines.

The prayers were held multiple times in shifts without affecting the movement of the visitors, due to the large number of pilgrims visiting the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) from within and outside the holy province of Karbala.

The believers supplicated to God Almighty for peace and security to prevail across the lands of Iraq, for mercy upon the martyrs, and for the wounded and sick to be granted swift healing.

The departments of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine mobilized all their staff efforts and put comprehensive plans in place earlier, in preparation to provide the best services to the visitors of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
