The Public Relations Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held its weekly mourning assembly to commemorate the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
The council was held in the reception hall inside the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), in the presence of several officials of the holy shrine, its staff, and a group of visitors.
The speaker of the council, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Dujaili, touched on various topics, recalling the noble biography of the Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their role in establishing the values of Islam.
This council is part of a series of awareness-raising events organized periodically by the holy shrine, aimed at commemorating the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and recalling their stances and sacrifices for the sake of religion and humanity.
