On Friday eve, the Maintaining Order Department provides humanitarian services to people with special needs and the elderly

The personnel of the Maintaining Order Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine provide their humanitarian services on Friday eves to people with special needs and the elderly, to facilitate their performance of the Ziyarat rituals of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The department's staff are deployed at the points leading to the holy shrine, which are: Bab Baghdad, the streets of Maytham al-Tammar, and Bab al-Qibla, to provide assistance and facilitate their arrival at the holy shrine to perform the Ziyarat.

The department staff are keen to accompany the visitor until the completion of the Ziyarat rituals, and then facilitate their arrival at the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

The humanitarian services provided by the department include transferring medical cases to the medical detachments affiliated with the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas, peace be upon them, when necessary; to ensure the safety of all visitors.
