The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine discusses its preparations for the unveiling ceremony of the first edition of the Najaf Ashraf Quran

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine discussed its final preparations for the unveiling ceremony of the first edition of the Najaf Ashraf Quran, scheduled to take place next Wednesday.

This came during the meeting chaired by the Director of the Office of the Senior Official of the Holy Shrine, Mr. Jawad Al-Hasnawi, in the presence of several representatives from the departments of the Holy Shrine, to review the special preparations for the ceremony.

Al-Hasnawi said that "the meeting was held to review the latest preparations for the launch ceremony of the Holy Quran, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 29, in the Alawi Complex hall in the holy city of Najaf."

He added that "the meeting included a discussion of all the preparations related to the ceremony and directed the relevant departments to complete their assigned tasks," explaining that "the preparations have reached their final stages."

The first edition of the Najaf Ashraf Quran received the blessing of His Eminence Sayed Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani, and it was printed at the Al-Kafeel Printing and Publishing House affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

The ceremony is held in commemoration of the birth of Imam Al-Redha (peace be upon him), at exactly five o'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, the 11th of Dhu al-Qi'dah, 1447 AH.
