The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine honors its staff who participated in restoring the relics of the holy shrines of Kadhemiyah and Samarra

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine honored the staff of the Al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts, which is affiliated with it, for their participation in the restoration and maintenance of the artifacts of the holy shrines of Kadhemiyah and Samarra.

The recognition came as an appreciation for the efforts made and the professional level demonstrated by the museum staff in handling and maintaining the museum pieces according to modern scientific methods, contributing to preserving their historical and artistic value and preparing them for exhibition.

The head of the department, Mr. Nafe' Al-Moussawi, said, "The honor represents an appreciation for the efforts of our staff in the restoration and maintenance project of the sacred relics of the Kadhemiyah and Samarra shrines, as they worked on rehabilitating these pieces to ensure their display in the museums of the two holy shrines in a manner befitting their historical and cultural value."

He added, "The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine places great importance on preserving the cultural heritage and maintaining the precious artifacts. It seeks, through its staff, to support cooperation with the holy shrines, which contributes to safeguarding this heritage and showcasing it to visitors and those interested in museum affairs."
