The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine delivers food supplies as part of the second relief convoy to the Iranian Red Crescent

The delegation from the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine delivered food supplies as part of the second relief convoy to the Iranian Red Crescent in coordination with the office of the Supreme Religious Authority in the holy city of Qom.

The second relief convoy included 10 trucks, loaded with 137 tons of food supplies, 18 tons of medical supplies, in addition to 20 dialysis machines, and one heavy machinery (bulldozer).

A member of the holy shrine delegation, Sheikh Haidar Al-Aaradi, said that the holy shrine continues its relief campaign for the Iranian people due to the ongoing support from the Iraqi people, in coordination between the offices of the supreme religious authority in Najaf Al-Ashraf and the holy city of Qom, represented by His Eminence Sayed Jawad Al-Shahristani.

He added that the delegation of the holy shrine delivered food and essential supplies to the Iranian Red Crescent as part of the second aid convoy.

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine had launched this humanitarian campaign in response to the call of the supreme religious authority to extend a helping hand to the affected, and its efforts included supporting the Iranian and Lebanese peoples, while opening its doors for collecting donations.
