The Green Belt is preparing to open one of its new oases for free to Iraqi families

The Southern Second Green Belt Department of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is preparing to open one of its new recreational oases, which is designated for Iraqi families free of charge.

The head of the department, Mr. Diab Ahmed Imran, said: "The specialized teams in the department have completed all the construction and agricultural work related to the establishment of the new oasis," noting that "the oasis is numbered 29, covers an area of 8 dunams, and entry will be free as it is designated for families only."

He added that "the oasis provides various free services for families, including: a parking lot, family seating areas with different designs, children's play areas, animal and flower gardens, green spaces, water fountains, as well as designated areas for grilling fish and chicken, and other services."

Imran mentioned that "the oasis includes a shopping center, a restaurant offering various Eastern, Western, and fast foods, stations for cold and hot beverages, in addition to nurseries providing different types and sizes of plants."
