Coinciding with the Eid al-Ghadir... The Green Belt announces the imminent opening of a new oasis covering an area of 8 dunams

The Southern Second Green Belt Department of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is preparing to inaugurate a new oasis coinciding with the blessed Eid al-Ghadir, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.

The new family oasis, Badr Al-Duja, numbered 29, is located on an area of 8 dunams and will open its doors for free to Iraqi families, aiming to provide a complete natural and recreational outlet for visitors.

The oasis includes a variety of facilities and services, such as a parking lot, family seating areas with multiple designs, children's play areas, animal and flower gardens, in addition to vast green spaces and waterfalls, as well as designated areas for grilling fish and chicken.

The oasis also includes a shopping center and a restaurant offering various Eastern, Western, and fast food cuisines, in addition to stations for cold and hot beverages, and nurseries featuring a variety of plants in different types and sizes, contributing to providing a comprehensive recreational and service environment for Iraqi families.
