The Scientific Complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine organized a Quranic gathering in celebration of the blessed Eid al-Ghadir in Najaf Ashraf, Karbala, and Baghdad.
The director of the Holy Quran Institute in Karbala, Sheikh Jawad Al-Nasrawi, said: "The institute held a celebration on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Ghadir, attended by students of the Quran memorization project, and it included various segments."
He added that the ceremony was opened with a recitation by the memorizer Ali Sadiq, followed by a lecture delivered by the head of the memorization unit at the institute, Sheikh Ali Al-Ruwaie, in which he highlighted the significance of this occasion, emphasizing the importance of celebrating it and renewing allegiance to the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).
Al-Nasrawi explained that the institute aims, through the establishment of these programs, to revive the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and to enhance the presence of their noble values and principles in society.
The Quranic Institute in Najaf Ashraf, affiliated with the complex, organized a Quranic gathering on the occasion of renewing loyalty and allegiance to the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).
The head of the recitation unit at the institute, Mr. Muhammad Ali Rashid, said: "The gathering began with a blessed recitation by the reader Ali Muhammad Al-Zubaidi, followed by a chanting segment presented by the reciter Mr. Ali Al-Kishwan. The reciter Mu'mal Kashkoul also participated with a collection of verses and loyalty poems that embodied the meanings of the blessed occasion and highlighted its significance in the hearts of the believers."
He added, "This gathering is part of the annual plan implemented by the Recitation Unit to commemorate religious occasions and reinforce Quranic culture in society, in addition to celebrating the memory of the blessed Eid al-Ghadir, drawing inspiration from its doctrinal and humanitarian significance, renewing the pledge to adhere to the path of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), and following the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them."
The Quranic Institute in Baghdad, affiliated with the Scientific Complex, organized a Quranic gathering at the Mosque and Hussainiya of the Imams (peace be upon them) in the Sulaikh area of the capital, Baghdad.
The ceremony began with a blessed recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reciters Ahmad Al-Heloo and Baqir Ahmad Sahar, followed by a speech from the mosque's imam, Mr. Ahmad Al-Naji, in which he reviewed the importance of commemorating the occasion of Eid al-Ghadir and recalling its significance and Islamic values.
The gathering featured a chanting segment presented by the Radood Yasser Al-Ashbal, amidst an atmosphere filled with feelings of joy and celebration for this blessed occasion.
