His Eminence Sayed Al-Safi performs the funeral prayer for the body of the religious authority Sheikh Muhammad Ishaq Al-Fayyad

The Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, performed the funeral prayer for the body of the religious authority, Sheikh Muhammad Ishaq al-Fayyad.

The prayer was held in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in the presence of large crowds of believers, the servants of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas, scholars and students of the Hawza, and official, academic, and social figures.

The religious authority Sheikh Muhammad Ishaq Al-Fayyad passed away yesterday morning, Thursday, in one of the hospitals in the capital, Baghdad, after a long struggle with illness.

The supreme religious authority, His Eminence Sayed Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani, offered condolences on the passing of the religious authority Sheikh Muhammad Ishaq al-Fayyad, praising his illustrious scholarly career and his significant contributions to serving the religious Hawza and spreading the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
