The Department of Courtyard Care is carrying out the washing of the dome and minarets of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)

The Holy Shrine's Department of the Sacred Courtyard at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has begun the work of washing the dome and minarets of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in preparation for the months of Muharram and Safar.

The assistant head of the department, Mr. Zain Al-Abideen Ahmed Al-Quraishi, said: "The staff of the Decoration Division carried out the washing of the dome and the two minarets of the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in preparation for the months of Muharram and Safar."

He added that "the washing operations were carried out by specialized and trained personnel who possess the necessary expertise to work at elevated sites, with full adherence to safety procedures and the use of safety harnesses and a special ladder made from materials that can withstand heavy weights, ensuring the completion of the work with the highest levels of safety."

Al-Quraishi explained that "the washing operations do not involve the use of any chemicals," noting that "these tasks are carried out periodically during the seasons of Ziyarats and religious occasions, as well as at times that require washing to maintain the general appearance of the holy shrine."
