The Between the Two Holy Shrines Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has prepared the central courtyard in anticipation of laying red carpets, covering an area of 10,000 square meters.

Mr. Muhammad Douhan from the department said, "The teams have started preparing the central square before carrying out the paving works," pointing out that "the measures are part of the special service plan for the Ziyarat, aimed at providing suitable spaces to accommodate the number of mourning processions and visitors to facilitate the smooth flow of their movement."

Dohan added that "the preparation works include laying red carpet and nylon over a total area of 10,000 square meters each, in line with the early preparations to welcome visitors and hold the mourning ceremonies."

These works are part of the service preparations carried out by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to provide suitable conditions for the visitors during the Ziyarat on the 10th of Muharram, which sees the participation of large numbers of visitors from inside and outside Iraq.
