The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine commemorates Al-Qasem ibn Al-Hasan (peace be upon them) through a mourning assembly in the holy courtyard

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continues to hold its annual mourning assembly in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) for the eighth day of the month of Muharram al-Haram.

The Hussaini Preaching Division of the Holy Shrine organizes the council as part of its special mourning program for the month of Muharram, which aims to revive Hussaini rituals and commemorate the immortal stances of the martyrs of the Battle of Karbala.

The speaker, Mr. Hashim Al-Battat, during the gathering, discussed aspects of the blessed biography of Al-Qasim ibn Al-Hassan (peace be upon them), reviewing his faith and humanitarian stances, his role in the uprising of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), and what he embodied of the values of sacrifice, altruism, and steadfastness on principles.

The council also shed light on the lessons and morals drawn from the biography of Al-Qasem ibn Al-Hasan (peace be upon him), and the importance of drawing inspiration from the meanings of loyalty and commitment to the authentic Islamic values that were embodied in the event of Karbala.

These gatherings are part of a series of mourning programs and events organized by the Al-Abbas's (p Holy Shrine during the holy month of Muharram, to commemorate Ashura and instill the principles of the Hussaini uprising in the hearts of the faithful and visitors.
