Maintenance Department: Installation of 38,000 square meters of Saran fabric around the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine

The Maintenance and Engineering Construction Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine confirmed the installation of Saran fabric in the areas surrounding the holy shrine and the streets leading to it.

The head of the department, Engineer Qassem Al-Moussawi, said, "The department has completed the installation of approximately 38,000 square meters of Saran fabric according to approved technical specifications, distributed around the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the streets leading to it."

He added that "our technical teams are continuing the installation of the saran fabric, aiming to reduce sunlight and provide a more comfortable environment for the mourners during the million-visitor events."

Al-Moussawi explained that "these efforts are part of the department's aim to provide the best services to the visitors of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them)."
