With the support of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.. The Zainabia procession (peace be upon her) embodies the event of Ashura through a theatrical performance

The Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) procession in the district of Ghammas, Diwaniyah Governorate, organized theatrical scenes to depict the tragic event of Ashura, with the support of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

The work reenacts the Battle of Karbala, as the participants embody the crimes and atrocities that were committed against Imam al-Hussayn, his family, and his companions (peace be upon them) on the day of Ashura.

This work represents a spiritual and historical revival of the painful details of the Ashura event, embodying the events of that day in an annual tradition practiced by the people of Diwaniya Governorate.

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine worked on providing service and logistical support, in addition to media coverage of the scenes of this work, contributing to conveying a vivid image of the depth of the tragedy and heroism that was inscribed in Karbala.

This dramatic reenactment takes place on the ninth day of the month of Muharram in the Al-Diwaniyah Governorate, and is repeated on the twelfth day of the same month in the holy city of Karbala.
