The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine visits Al-Ameed University and congratulates the College of Pharmacy on obtaining full program accreditation

A delegation from the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine visited Al-Ameed University and congratulated the College of Pharmacy on receiving full accreditation for its bachelor's program for a period of five years, granted by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The delegation included members of the Board of Directors of the Holy Shrine: Sayed. Laith Al-Moussawi, Dr. Abbas Al-Dadah Al-Moussawi, and Dr. Afdhal Al-Shami. They were received by the university president, Dr. Joudat Al-Jashami, and the college dean, Dr. Uday Abdul-Ridha, along with the teaching staff.

Sayed Laith Al-Moussawi said: "The educational project adopted by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine through the universities of Al-Ameed and Al-Kafeel and its educational institutions is based on solid scientific and educational foundations." He pointed out that the full academic accreditation granted to the College of Pharmacy by the relevant authorities is one of the most prominent evidence of the success of this approach, especially since the accreditation was granted for a period of five years after meeting the approved standards.

He added that this achievement came as a result of the continuous work done by the university presidency, the college deanship, the teaching and administrative staff, and the department heads, in addition to the integrated efforts of all the staff. He emphasized that what has been achieved was not a coincidence, but rather the fruit of sound planning, the good selection of competencies, teamwork, and a high sense of responsibility.

Al-Moussawi explained that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research relies on precise procedures and strict standards in granting academic accreditations, which gives this achievement great importance and confirms that the College of Pharmacy obtaining full accreditation without conditions embodies the level of rigor on which its educational and teaching project is based.

He pointed out that the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine trusts the academic and administrative staff in its universities and looks forward to continuing to provide the best scientific levels, contributing to achieving the goals of its educational project and serving the higher education journey.
