The mourning processions revived the remembrance of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) at the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas, in collaboration with the Department of Hussayni Rituals, Processions, and Bodies affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

The roads leading to the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) witnessed the arrival of mourning processions carrying banners of mourning and reciting elegies and lamentations that embody the sorrow of the tragic event of Ashura.

The Rituals Department has prepared a special plan to organize the smooth movement of the mourning processions, which includes designating specific routes for each procession, thereby helping to avoid overlap between the processions and the visitors.
