The Preparatory Committee of the Annual Cultural Festival of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) put the general outlines of its program..

A meeting was held by the Preparatory Committee of the Annual Cultural Festival of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in its four edition, which will start Friday the 14th Rajab 1437 AH corresponding to the 22nd April 2016, under the slogan: "Imam Ali (peace be upon him), the gateway of the Prophet's knowledge", and held in the Hussaynya of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in the Indian city: Bangalore. The meeting was attended by the delegations representing the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and of Imam Al-Kadhem and Imam Al-Jawad (peace be upon them) in addition to the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the organizing body of this festival, with the participation of the host body represented by Mr. Agha Sultan and Mr. Mohamad Ibrahim.
During the meeting,which was hold in one of the halls of the Hussaynya, the scheduled program of the festival was presented and discussed along with the opening place and the schedule of the festival activities and what will be displayed in the pavilions of the holy shrines. At the end of the meeting, many decisions have been made, to be executed during the festival, and which would elevate the level of the festival in terms of the organization and the interaction.
Mr. Agha Sultan has stated: "It is a great honor that Bangalore host this festival, which is held to celebrate a blessed occasion that is dear to the hearts of the believers in the whole world; namely the birth anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful Ali (peace be upon him), and God willing and by the blessing of the Master, this edition will be different from the previous ones held in other Indian states. Hosting this festival is like a divine grace and one of the sacred blessings of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)."
It is worth mentioning that the cultural festival of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) is an annual festival hold in the Republic of India, as the Hussaynya of Imam Bara in Lucknow city has held it for two consecutive editions, the city of Hyderabad has hosted one edition and the city of Bangalore will host this edition, which is hoped to sustain the series of successes achieved in the previous editions.
