The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine spreads black and mourning banners in commemoration of the martyrdom of the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household)

The staff of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine spread black cloth and banners of mourning throughout the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and its entrances, commemorating the martyrdom of the Noble Messenger of God, Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

The assistant head of the Holy Shrine's Holy Care Department, Sheikh Zain al-Abideen al-Quraishi, said that these works came after raising the banners for the Ziyarat Arbaeen of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), so that the Holy Shrine would be adorned with signs of mourning on this sorrowful occasion.

He added that the banners were distributed in the terrace overlooking the holy courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and the surrounding areas, using special materials to secure them, making it easier to remove them later.

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is preparing to commemorate the painful anniversary with a comprehensive program that includes holding mourning assemblies, sermons, and guidance, as well as recalling the life of the Noble Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and his role in spreading the message of Islam.
