The holy city of Najaf witnessed the arrival of crowds of believers to commemorate the martyrdom of the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) at the shrine of his successor, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him).

The roads leading to the holy city of Najaf are witnessing continuous movement of visitors, with the participation of processions and crowds of believers coming from inside and outside Iraq, to commemorate this occasion and remember the life of the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

And the believers commemorate this painful anniversary in the presence of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), affirming their adherence to the Mohammadian message and the path laid down by the Noble Prophet and his family (Allah's prayers be upon them all).
