The crowds of mourners in the holy city of Karbala commemorated the eve of the martyrdom of the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) at the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine welcomed the visitors who flocked to commemorate the eve of the twenty-eighth of Safar, the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

The holy shrine has prepared a comprehensive mourning program to commemorate this painful occasion, through organizing mourning assemblies and religious lectures.
