The staff of the Holy Shrine's Courtyard Care Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launched a campaign to remove the sand that had been laid in front of the gates of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), following the end of the months of Muharram and Safar.
The department's assistant head, Mr. Zain al-Abideen al-Quraishi, stated that the campaign, carried out in cooperation with other relevant departments, included removing the sand from in front of the Qibla Gate and the Imam al-Hasan Gate (peace be upon him), as part of a broader effort to rehabilitate the entrances to the holy shrine.
Al-Quraishi added that the sand had been laid in front of the gates of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine at the beginning of Muharram to reduce the risk of slips and falls among visitors as they passed through during the Ziyarat rituals.
He explained that these efforts are part of the service plan developed by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to serve visitors and provide them with a safe and suitable environment, thus facilitating their movement and ensuring their safety.
