The national Quranic competition for groups achieve its final stages.

The second edition of the national Quranic competition for groups held by the centre of the preparation of readers and Quran memorizers at the Institute of the Holy Quran of the Department of the Islamic and human knowledge affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, has achieved the pre-final stage by the nomination of four teams.

For over two days of competitions of the third stage, four teams were selected for the fourth stage, the nominated teams are:

1- Team of Baghdad Rusafa that has won 81,5 points, represented by the reader Ahmad Falahi, the Hafiz [memorizer] Hussayn Hamad Shalal, and for the interpretation Sayed Nizar Adnan.

2- Team of Babylon winning 78 points, represented by the reader Hassan Al-Dhabhaoui, the Hafiz Rasool Mahdi and for the interpretation Fadel Hassan.

3- Team of Muthanna with 74,5 points, represented by the reader Fallah Zulif, Hafiz Mahmoud Hashem and Hamid Al-Askari for the interpretation.

4- Team of Naynawa with 71,75 points, represented by the reader Salah Habib, Hafiz Mustafa Khayr Al-Deen and Mohammad Abdallah Al-A'raji for the interpretation.

Based on these results and according to the competition rules, before the final, the teams of Baghdad Rusafa, Babylon, Muthanna and Naynawa will compete.
