The Department of keeping order at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine puts a plan for the success of the Ziyarat of the tenth of the sacred month of Muharram 1438 AH.

The Department of keeping order at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has prepared a special security plan for the Ziyarat of the tenth of the sacred month of Muharram in order to maintain the security and safety of the visitors, through holding a series of coordination meetings with the Department of keeping order in the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), the Middle Euphrates' operations leadership and the Directorate of Karbala police, considering that the security plan is on of the mot of the important plans developped by the holy shrine for the service of the visitors.
The deputy Head of the keeping order Department; Mr. Abd Al-Hussayn Habeeb has explained to Al-Kafeel Network the following: "As in every year, the Department of keeping order at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is making exceptional efforts to develop plans to ensure the success of the Ziyarat of Ashura and to maintain the security and safety of the visitors, as the security work was divided between the two holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) and the Department of the area between the two holy shrines, and there is joint operations room to coordinate the work between them from on side and on the other hand between the Karbala police department represented by the regiment of the protection of between the two holy shrine."
He added: "This year, we focused more on activating the intelligence component by training a group of our staff who has received a series of special trainings in this matter. And as part of the plan, we have received 500 volunteers from the well-known bodies , to back the employees of the keeping order Department through the coordination with some of the well-known bodies, dispatching them on the doors and intrior points surrouding the two holy shrines, and sending some of them to the directoriate of protecting the two holy shrines, in addition to that we conduct the control of the foot patrols to note any suspicious case and transfer the information first hand, and performing rounds survey using sonar on people and the areas nearby the holy shrine on an ongoing basis, as well as working on explosivs detction using screening devices for the bags and which are distributed to the checkpoints surrounding the holy shrine."
Stating: "We appeal to the owners of the processions to prevent any stranger from entering within their convoy, in addition to organizing their processions by leaving some space between processions to enable the movement of the visitors on both sides of the road, in order to avoid big jams."
It is worth mentioning that the Ziyarat of the tenth of the sacred month of Muharram is one of the Ziyarat in which millions of believers flock to the holy city of Karbala from all over the world, to perform the Ziyarat of the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them).
