The professors and students of Karbala University recall the tragedy of At-Taf and stress on the path that was lined with the pure bloods.

The condolence processions are still flocking to the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) to commemorate the martyrdom of the Master of the youth of Paradie; Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and his saint family, as the students of Karbala University went in a unified condolence procession in form of condolence groups including all faculties on Tuesday morning 16th of the sacred Muharram 1438 AH corresponding to the 18th of October, 2016.
The procession, which was led by the deans and professors of colleges, started from the Qiblah road of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to enter the holy shrine then pass by the area between the two holy shrines to reach the shrine of Aba Abdillah Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), while chanting elegies that embodied the greatness of the tragedy and stressing at the same time to move forward on the path of the Al-Hussayn the martyr (peace be upon him), which was lined by his pure blood and which has become a beacon for all freedom-seekers in the world.
Dr. Salman Hussain, Associate Dean of the Education College has explained to Al-Kafeel Network the following: "Traditionally every year the students of Karbala University organize a unified procession to offer condolences for the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and his saint family, and this procession is done to commemorate this sad event, in which blood has triumphed over the sword and th right over the wrong, which is an opportunity to motivate the students to search about this tragedy, its objectives and all its surrounding factors, and showing that it was a divine plan through the choice of the Imam's companions (peace be upon them), who were of all age categories, which is an evidence that regardles of the position or age, one has the opportunity to be Hussayni by raising the flag of right."
It is worth mentioning that all kind of condolence processions still continue flocking to the two holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) to offer the condolences for the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Al-Hussayn, his saint family and companions (peace be upon them all).
