The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine produces a documentary film about Sheikh Al-Batha' Aba Taleb (peace be upon him).

In order to show Glimpses of the jihadist approach that has characterized the biography of the first Mujahid of Islam; Aba Taleb (peace be upon him), and to establish the truth of history by surfing what was said and reported about him in the relevant books and sources to give him his right, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine represented by the Division of Imaging the montage at the Department of intellectual and cultural Affairs has produced a documentary film entitled: ("Kabeer Al-Sahabah" The eldest/greatest companion) directed in a wonderful artistic way, mixing between modernity, accuracy and credibility in extracting the correct information from the most relevant history and biography books.
The head of the Photography and montage Division, Mr. Bashir Al-Tajer has explained to Al-Kafeel Network: "This documentary is one of a series of works of art that we will produce, and this great personality has been chosen as it is pride in the Islamic history, a personality that has lot of favors on Islam and Muslims, it is the personality of Aba Taleb (peace be upon him) a.k.a the believer of Quraish, in order to shed light on some of the life's pages of the first Mujahid of Islam in a documentary film that contributes to raising the injustice done to him from those who do have no knowledge of history or are not able of rightfully investigate either out of ignorance or by hatred of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and love for their enemies".
Adding: "The film's duration is of twenty seven minutes, written and directed by Mr. Azhar Khamis, one of the employees of the Division. It was filmed in Iran, Lebanon and Syria, according to the scenes needed by the director, with the participation of a group of actors from inside and outside Iraq."
Explaining: "The movie includes interviews with some religious figures from inside and outside Iraq, speaking about this personality, each according to the various sections of the film, such as Sheikh Ali Al-Korani, Sheikh Mohammed Al-Sanad and Sheikh Jaafar Ibrahimi in addition to the researcher Sayed Abdullah al-Musawi, Sayed. Ja'far Al-'ameli, Mr. Othman Rashad, the Mufti and Islamic scholar Dr. Labib Beydhoun and Sheikh Najmuddin Tabsi. "
He continued: "The historical information relied upon in this film were selected from the relevant Hadith and biography books (Sunni and Shia), then presented to a committee that has investigated and reviewed it from the historical perspective and intellectual integrity by Sheikh Ali Al-Korani and Sayed Laith Al-Musawi the head of the Intellecual and Cultural Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. Among the books used as sources for the movie: Bihar Al-Anwar, Sahih Al-Bukhari, Munyat Raghib fi Imani Abi Taleb, Sheikh Al-Batha', Al-Ghadeer Encyclopedia, Al-Bidaya wa Al-Nihaya and Jawahir Al-Tarikh."
Mr. Al-Tajer has concluded: "The film will be introduced in competitions in which the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is participating, or in the local and international exhibitions and festivals."
