College of Humanitarian Studies commemorates the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Az-Zahra (peace be upon her).

The unit of teaching language at the College of Humanitarian Studies of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has held a funeral Majlis attended by a group of the college professors led by the college dean; the assistant professor Dr. Safa Abd Al-Jabbar Ali Al-Musawi and the official of the unit of teaching languages Mr. Mahmoud Al-Sabbar, in addition to a number of students, to commemorates the martyrdom anniversary of the beloved daughter of the Great Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) Lady Fatima Az-Zahra (peace be upon her).

The Majlis started by the recitation of verses of the Holy Quran followed by a lecture of Sayed. Ammar Al-Ghurayfi from Bahrain, in which he shed the light on a number of points in the life of Lady Fatima Az-Zahra (peace be upon her), her suffering and grief after the martyrdom of her father the Messenger of Allah (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), and how she faced all of these challenges with patience and forbearance. He urged at the same time, the professors and students to take her as their role model, to show the oppression she has to face and to translate her words and advices in a practical way.

The Majlis was concluded by an elegy expressing the depth of this painful tragedy and what happened to Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) after her martyrdom.

It is to mention that the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine as usual in every year, has started receiving the processions of Fatimi sorrows from inside and outside the holy city of Karbala, as the condolence processions come to present the condolences to her sons Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them). The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared a special program for the performance of the rituals of this occasion from organizing and receiving the mourners and preparing the pulpits from the preachers who are presenting religious lectures to show on this occasion the greatness of this person and the misfortunes that she has to face after the martyrdom of her father the Great Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).
