The third national Quranic competition for teams reaches its second stage.

The teams of the third national competition for teams held by the Center for Readers and Hufaz' Preparation at the Holy Quran Institute of the Holy Shrine ended the first phase of the competition which resulted in the qualification of 16 teams who got the highest points in the first stage tour, which witnessed great competition between the 24 participating teams in this competition, which is held daily in the sanctuary of Abu al-Fadl Abbas (peace be upon him).

The competition in this stage was fierce and the results were close as it is qualifying stage to the final, which will be held on the night of the fourteenth of the holy month within the celebrations of the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him).

It is to note that each team consists of three members (reader, Hafiz and Quran interpreter) according to the competition system. The opening ceremony started with a friendly competition between Muthanna team and Diyala team. The competition will last for 15 days, four teams compete each day with different questions from an arbitration committee consisting of four members specialists in the rules of recitation, voice, tune, interpretation and Hifz.
