As a continuation of its program of support for the families of the martyrs of the security forces and the popular mobilization, which began since the first spark of the fatwa for the defense of Iraq and its sanctities, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine honored a group of families of martyrs of the honorable scientific Hawza in Najaf who sacrificed their soul to liberate the land from the desecration of the terrorist ISIL gangs, They had the positive role in achieving the victories, as they played sometimes the role of the caring father, or the teacher who gives the best example, or the helping friend, or the role of the medic, or the student, or the servant for the fighters, and sometimes the role of the obedient soldier until a large collection of them joined the martyrs and ascended to the Gardens of Eternity.
The honoring ceremony was held in coordination with the holy shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) at Al-Khadra masjid in the presence of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayyed Ahmad Al-Safi, officials of the local government in Najaf, the elite of the blessed scientific hawza, the families of the martyrs, representatives from the holy shrines and Military leaders of the popular mobilization forces.
After listening to a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and reading Surat Al-Fatihah in memory of the martyrs of Iraq. There was a word of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi, who praised the sacrifices of the security forces and the popular mobilization in all its factions in general and the martyrs of the scientific hawza in particular, urging on the necessity to continue the full support of the families of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of the homeland and sanctities."
Then Sayed Adnan al-Moussawi, from the religious guidance department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, recalled these heroes by reciting some elegies.
For his side, the head of the Religious Affairs Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sheikh Salah al-Karbala'i stated: "The honoring of the families of the martyrs today at the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) is one of a series of continuous support for this project, which began with the first spark of the holy religious defense fatwa, which is continuing by the Supreme Religious Authority confirming on the care of the families of the martyrs with all available means. The honoring ceremony was held at the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), in coordination with the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), to honor 70 families of the martyrs from the students of the Hawza."
It is noteworthy that the supreme religious authority in Najaf has urged on more than one occasion to pay attention to the families of the martyrs and recalling them in the last speech of victory, stating:
“The righteous martyrs who quenched the land of Iraq with their pure blood and their souls ascended to heavens, are in a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. And the lowest degrees of loyalty to them is caring for their families from widows, orphans ad others, as providing them with the dignified life from the accommodation, health, learning and life expenses and others are a national and moral duty and a nation that does not care for the families of its martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of its honor and dignity, will not succeed. This task is primarily the duty of the government and the House of Representatives to provide enough financial allocations to secure a decent living for the families of the martyrs of the ISIL terrorism in particular, in advance for many other clauses of the general budget.”
