Completion of the preparations for the inauguration of the al-'Afaf Shopping Center and the opening of the comprehensive specialized exhibition of the activities of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

The committee supervising of the comprehensive specialized exhibition for the activities and services of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which is will be held in conjunction with the inauguration of the al-'Afaf Shopping Center, announced the completion of all preparations for the event which will start on Saturday 13th of Rajab 1439 AH corresponding to March 31, 2018.

And according to the committee, the events are held within the celebrations of the great birth anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali (peace be upon him), on two levels:

The first: The inauguration of the al-'Afaf Shopping Center, which is one of the pioneering investment projects of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the province of Karbala. The project is held in the neighborhood of al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) on an area of 2600 square meters in three floors divided in two parts: A part for the shopping services, and the second part contains the administrative offices and stores of the project. It is considered a prominent commercial and shopping icon in the province of Karbala, as it was built according to the latest designs to be a landmark among the commercial markets of the province to reflect the development of the commercial movement in light of the development of the domestic consumption market. And it will offer the residents and visitors of Karbala a new and exciting shopping experience, including a wide range of prominent brands that are opening in the province for the first time away from commercial fraud and counterfeit brands. This is what it is aimed through the designs developed for this center, which is in compliance with these commercial requirements.

The second part of the event held in the al-'Afaf Shopping Center, is the comprehensive specialized exhibition of the (intellectual, urban, medical, educational, agricultural, commercial, investment, touristic and industrial) activities and projects of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, under the slogan "Our projects are an encouragement for the national abilities", with the participation of 25 of the departments and companies of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in order to inform the citizen, visitor, governmental institutions and others, and to highlight the most prominent services, activities and events of the holy shrine in all its fields and to publicize its products that become the focus of attention as their quality is equivalent of global products.
