Scholars and clergymen of Kargil: This is an honor for us to witness the fags of the holy domes of the Imams (peace be upon them) fluttering on our land.

During the meeting which brought together the delegations of the holy shrines in Iraq (Imam al-Hussayn, Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-'Askari, and Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them)) and a large gathering of scholars, clerics and students in the Ithna 'Ashari Hawza of the Indian city of Kargil, within the activities of the Sixth Annual Cultural Festival of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), there was a welcoming word read on behalf of them by Sayed Mahdi al-Mosawi, in which he expressed their deep joy and happiness to welcome the servants of the holy shrines in Iraq, especially that they brought with them the flags of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn, of Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-'Askari, and of al-Abbas (peace be upon them), which have brought a new dawn burst to every house in this city, making us proud and honored. Thanking the delegation for travelling to the far north of India for this purpose...

This was followed by other speeches of Sayed Ibrahim al-Hussayni from the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine and Sheikh Bassem al-Karbala'i from the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in which they demonstrated the important role played by the clerics to educate the people and guide them to the right path in this era full of many challenges.
