The Closing Ceremony of the Sixth Annual Cultural Festival of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).

In beautiful atmosphere filled with mercy and blessings as well as the love of the Imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and within the celebrations of the birth anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon both of them), the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine concluded on Saturday afternoon 19th of Rajab 1439 Ah corresponding to April 7, 2018 the Sixth Annual Cultural Festival of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in the Indian city of Kargil, which was held under the slogan "The Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), first of worshippers and the most ascetic of all" with the participation of the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and of Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-'Askari (peace be upon both of them) in the Ithna Ashari Hawza in the mentioned city, which opened its doors for large crowds of many lovers and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), who attended hours before the beginning of the closing ceremony.

The closing ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran recited by the reader of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine; Falah Zulif, followed by a speech of the holy shrines participating in the festival delivered by Mr. Nafie Jamal, deputy director general of the holy shrine of Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-'Askari (peace be upon both of them). Followed by the word of the representative of the supreme religious authority in Kashmir, Sayed Mohamad Baqir al-Musawi al-Najafi al-Kashmiri, who was unable to attend the ceremony because of some health problems, delivered on his behalf by his son, Sayed. Abu al-Hasan al-Mahdi.

The Director of the Ithna Ashari Hawza, the host of the festival, Sheikh Nazer Al-Mahdi, has also delivered his word in which he presented his great thanks to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for choosing the city of Kargil to hold the festival activities. He also thanked the holy shrines participating in the festival, and he also thanked the holy shrines participating in it considering the festival a historical event in the city.

The draw was then conducted for more than 2000 participants in the religious journey to the holy shrines in Iraq, 20 of them won the journey from Kargil to the holy shrines in Iraq offered by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, 10 winners won the journey offered by the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine, and 5 winners won the journey offered by the holy shrine of Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-'Askari (peace be upon both of them).

After this, the participants in the establishment of the festival, from the heads of the delegations were honored, as well as the parties that contributed to its success.

The ceremony was concluded by the word of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine who reminded that the festival could not have been established only thanks to the victories achieved by the security forces and the popular mobilization over the terrorist ISIL gangs. At the end, Surat al-Fatihah was read in memory of the martyrs of Iraq.
