The shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) embraces a festive celebration of the anniversary of the prophetic mission [Mab'at sharif].

We celebrate during these days the anniversary of the Prophetic mission [al-Mab'ath al-Sharif], the anniversary of the birth of Islam. During this day, we remember how Islam was born, and how the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) has dedicated his life to call for it. It is an anniversary that needs us to meditate and reflect as the prophetic mission and the birth of the message and the Holy Quran was the day of the great guidance of mankind.

Therefore, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, represented by the Department of Rituals and Hussayni processions at the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), has organized a festive celebration in the holy sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to commemorate this great occasion.

During this celebration, poems were recited and chanted by many poets and Radoods such as Mohamad al-Mosawi and Nusayr al-Karbala'i, through which they recalled the importance of this day, as it is one of the important historical events in the march of Islam and the life of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).
