Director of the Islamic Forum in USA: Our meeting in Karbala is one of the embodiment of the holy verse {O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes so that you may know one another.}

The founder and director of the Islamic Forum in USA; Sayed Hasan al-Qazwini has affirmed in his speech during the meeting held within the World Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring in its 14th edition, in the city of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) for the visitors, which is located on the road (Babylon - Karbala) that the purpose of this meeting tonight is to get to know each other and to know each other's activities and achievements, and this one of the embodiment of the holy verse {O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes so that you may know one another.} (49:13)"

Indicating that: "In the light of the blessings of our master, Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), we gather here to meet each other and to achieve the concept of the holy verse that called us to meet despite our multiplicity and our various affiliations. And this divine mosaic that gathered us tonight is an embodiment of this holy verse which wanted the human being regardless of his diversity in colors and in races and even in religions to get to know each other. "

Then, Sayed Qazwini explained briefly the work of his institution: "In short, I mention that I work at the Islamic Forum, one of the active Islamic centers and institutions in the United States, based in the city of Detroit, Michigan. Noting that Michigan has a large Muslim community of more than three hundred thousand Muslims, and perhaps one third of this number are followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and there is a state of peaceful coexistence between Muslims themselves and Muslims and non-Muslims in that state. Indeed, the number of converts to Islam in the United States is increasing continuously."
