Activities of the Division of Women Religious Guidance at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine during the Holy month of Ramadhan.

The Division of the Women Religious Guidance of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine organize daily activities during the holy month of Ramadhan, following a plan set up for the revival of this holy month whether inside or outside the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

Head of the Division Mrs. Mona Karim Mohamad Ali, briefed us on the most important activities of the division during the Holy month of Ramadhan, starting by organizing sessions for the recitation of the Holy Quran and other activities of the developed plan including:

First: The establishment of the annual Quranic women's forum at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the basement named "Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) on three shifts. These forums are run by the members of our division on a regular basis and are shared by readers from the Quranic Fadak al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) school.

Second: Establishing the annual Quranic Women's Forum in the Maqam of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance).

Third: Establishing a women's Quranic forum in the praying place of the al-Abbas's (p) residential compound.

Fourth: Establishing Quranic forums in some neighborhoods of the holy province of Karbala under the supervision of employees of the Division.

Indicating: "These are the Quranic activities, which include recitation, teaching the correct reading, and interpretation of some chosen Quranic verses, which refer either to a statement of Islamic law, to moral behavior or to strengthening the relationship with God, and highlighting some recitation rules to improve their reading."

She added: "As for the rhetorical aspect, the Division also has a parallel activity of the Quranic one, where the lady preachers of the Division establish women's preaching and counseling councils, whether inside or outside the holy shrine. The number of women's preaching centers reached more than 16 centers in the holy city of Karbala, where lessons are given in (jurisprudence, beliefs, ethics, and recitation's rules) in addition to Quranic recitations.

She concluded: "The program during the month of Ramadhan also includes the revival of religious events in this month, such as the death of Lady. Khadija (peace be upon her), the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) and the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in addition to the revival of the blessed nights of destiny."
