The Department of the square between the two holy shrines decorate the street of Imam Saheb az-Zaman (peace be upon him) with aesthetic lamps.

The street of Saheb az-Zaman [Master of the Time] (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) is one of the streets adjacent to the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), which is one of the old commercial streets and is a destination for most visitors from inside and outside Iraq for shopping, as well as being one of the streets that lead to the old city neighborhoods and the link between two important streets. This is what led the Electricity Division at the Department of the square between the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) to contribute to its development, by putting the modern artistic lamps to highlight the beauty of the sacred place.

The Supervisor of these works; Engineer Tha'er Adhar Hashem stated: "The Electricity Division of the Department of the square between the two Holy shrines has successfully completed the project of lighting the street of Imam Saheb az-Zaman (Peace be upon him), as the lighting and rehabilitation of this street contribute greatly to highlighting the beauty of this street, because of the importance of this street as it is adjacent to the area between the two Holy Shrines, and includes large heritage markets visited by many visitors from inside and outside Iraq. And this great achievement is one of the series of projects implemented by cadres of the Electricity Division."

He added: "We used lamps in beautiful form and consistent colors with economical consumption of electricity. The work also included the preparation of spots to place poles of lighting to install them and link them to the electrical system."

It is worth mentioning that the electricity division in the department of the square between the two holy shrines is responsible for many works, such as electrical wiring, installation of lighting, maintenance of control panels, the lighting decorations, and all electrical works in the square between the two holy shrines and its adjacent areas, as well as the continuous maintenance works.
