The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine puts more than 1000 waste containers on the roads leading to the holy city of Karbala.

As part of its preparations to receive the visitors of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) on the Arba'een, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine represented by the Institute of the Heritage of the Prophets (peace be upon them) of the e-Hawza studies, has put more than 1000 waste containers on the roads leading to the holy city of Karbala, in order to contribute to maintaining the cleanliness of these roads.

Sheikh Hussein al-Turabi, the director of the institute said: "This campaign is part of the extensive campaigns organized and established by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in many fields. It started from the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) up to the external axes of Karbala province, passing by the streets and roads used by visitors, and our institute has taken part of the cleaning task, especially the deployment of waste containers."

He added: "The containers were installed on the poles of lighting in the middle of the roads, writing on them words of education that urge on hygiene and cleanness. This campaign included three axes:

1- Road (Baghdad - Karbala).

2- Road (Babylon - Karbala).

3 - Road (Najaf - Karbala).
